Hey Everyone,

Just spent my first time logged into Twitch watching an entire event with Trevor and other members (non members as well)...all I can say is,

WOO HOO, FUN FUN FUN!

The show started as planned and Trevor took off in his King Air 350i from KMSP Minneapolis to KY72 Bloyer Field/Tomah Airport located in Tomah, WI. USA. At first only a few other people were watching, but after a few minutes, others logged in or watched without logging in, either way many people were watching.

Knowingly, by reading my posting above, I requested Trevor to fly to KY72 (also known as Y72) since it's a short hop from KMSP, as well as this airport is only about 7 miles from my house, and it's where I spent the last 10 years practically living there during the RC flying seasons...almost everyday from late March to early October. However, since I am no longer into the RC hobby and don't get there much, I miss it a lot.

Thus, that is why I requested he fly there and he did not disappoint. I watched as he flew the correct routing over areas that I easily recognized on his dedicated Twitch Channel (as seen at the top of this page). His scenery looked very nice, along with the projected daytime weather. I didn't notice any lag, nor disruptions that took away from the flight/show. Then again, I should say there were some joyful interruptions when he attempted to land on either RWY 25 and RWY 07 at Y72.

Albeit, there were no mechanical problems or pilot proficiency issues; instead, it was the real fun that started when Ray donated money during the attempted landings, in which case Trevor had to perform a barrel roll for the donation right away. Trevor was only a mile or two from touchdown and Ray hit the donation button right at the exact moment. Of course Trevor did the barrel roll rather well, but it threw off his landing(s). So, he had to go-around and try again, and again, and again because Ray did this more then once. It was more like a barrel of laughs with a barrel roll, but eventually he finally got down.

After a short break Trevor loaded up and took off from Y72 heading for KMIA Miami, FL. This portion of the flight was much longer and it left a lot of time for members (Twitch Chat, Discord and etc) to discuss many topics. Everything from flight simulation to current events, or even to Dorthy in Kansas or was it Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas...jokes that came out with much laughter. Plus, we discussed things relevant to 3D printing of simulator parts and the machines used. It was a learning experience to say the least! Eventually the flight ended with Trevor landing at KMIA with a smooth, -33fpm, touchdown. Believe me it looked as good as if he did it in real life...a nice gentle landing. He then taxied to the GA parking, shutdown the engines and wrapped up the show up with some final words regarding his next flight.

In summary, if you want to spend some quality time learning about flight simulation and/or seeing actual live simulation flights, you just need to checkout Trevor's Twitch Shows. You'll get to be with the man who brings us all together through this website and understand why he is so dedicated to helping others, along with helping the entire flight simulation community to grow...

Additionally, I encourage every member here, not just the long term members, but all of you, even those who are new or those who are only researching and not posting yet to please checkout what Trevor does, you will not be disappointed...

Wow John,
Thanks for the kind words,  You really got to take part, which is what is intended with the streams.  Some streams are better than others, but of course the more people that get involved the more fun the streams become.  But as always I like to do them as real as possible but you need to have fun and that's what we do.

At best, ATC will get you close, then hand you off if you have the field in sight.

Field is closed at night, 2300-0700. It's a challenge but was able to get the B1900 school bus into it.

LOL I have really considered this recently, I want to goto Aspen.  However don't want to fly in there with default Scenery (Might ruin it for me)  Time to send money to ACH and the kids, and not spend anymore on myself..  So I am going to save the money for my donation for Worldflight..  Probably better that way anyway.  When I return, I will be picking up Aspen, and then I will make that flight..
Fridays night flight is going to bring us back East, Just not sure yet how far.
