How to turn all MIP LCDs on at once?

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to turn all MIP LCDs on at once when firing up the flight deck, instead of having to reach out and push the power button on each unit? Typically I think in a real plane you turn on the avionics master and all displays come to life. Curious if anyone has solved for this already...

I have mine connected by relays, which are triggered by Prosim

Most monitors will revert to the last power state when power is connected, so if you have the monitor turned on, and unplug the power, it will turn back on when power is re-connected.

Sometimes you may need to turn this feature on in the control menus of the monitor itself.

I am not using Prosim, but I'll test my LCDs for power state. Then a couple of relays tied to the avionics master switches may do the trick.

does not each power bus light up   and they light up according to which bus ?

All LCDs plugged on the same power bar
All on
Switch the power bar off
All off
next time you switch the power bar on they all light up.
You may add an  FSUIPC fonction  to switch avionics on or off with a dedicated switch/button

seems my point lost.. the crts /lcds on aircraft to NOT come on all at once .. as respective power bus activates then they sequence

Yes that is correct, and it is modeled by the avionics software (SimA for me)
Starting cold and dark with computers running
Battery bus fires only Capt side PFD/ND/CDU and engine DU with a delay (that you can set)
Then Ext power or APU on bus fire them all  in sequence etc etc

Hard to replicate with no software.

eemm  okay so no aircraft power buses functional.in sim a (thats odd ) but then i dont have a 73..   could you not add say a resistor and timer ? to create this effect   justa a thought

I think Jack might be talking about something else.
Most home setups I have seen have all the LCD screens on, but blank when they are "cold and dark"

I know nothing of Sim Avionics software, but with Prosim there are gates available to signal power availability on the different buses. 
In my setup, cold and dark is actually cold and dark so nothing is powered, and I have the gates above trigger relays to physically turn on the appropriate screens when bus power is available.

Makes it quite scary when you lose AC power and half your panel goes black!

I'm also using these gates for the emergency standby lighting, where key panels and gauges are backlit with no AC power available, and at a fixed brightness etc, just like the real system.
