Korry 318 push to test logic

Hi.
Does anyone know if the push to test functions of the korry announciator works even if the onbat switch is not enable.
I mean if it works even in cold and dark if there is amperage in the battery.

Trying to save a PWM pin and connect it direct to my PSU

No, they only work with the battery power on.
