What a great project!  Take a few minutes to watch this guys passion for aviation and the Caravelle turn into a beautiful work of art and history.
I can't help but compare his efforts with interfacing OEM to what I see Rob, Mick, Scott and others doing with their projects

Hope you enjoy if you haven't already seen it.

Very interesting video Warren,

What a project to undertake on your own, dedication on another level than most of us here.
Except of course those few who work absolute magic on real equipment... much respect to those... you know who you are!!!  :-\ ;D ;D

Interesting factoid on this video is that Nils contacted me when he made it to ask permission to use one of my youtube videos in it.  That NG clip toward the end is actually taken from my first NG build using an FDS wood shell, FDS MIP and Overhead, and 3 Projectors with 210 degree visual modelled after Ivar Hestness's early work.   That is one of my friends flying a visual approach into Innsbruck.  The original video got over 300k views...

Anyway, Nil's project is amazing and was one of the inspirations for me to go back to oem and steam gauge -200 (and later to the -300 project I have today).

That Caravelle is a gorgeous aircraft IMHO.  His video should be on the history channel!

That is an interesting fact!  Small world!

I think I'll try to look him up next time I'm in Bavaria!
