I had an incident occur yesterday with Desert Air Spares that was both very suspicious and was a big blow to the progress of my sim.

To wit, I had arranged for and was in the process of sending a certified check for as well as had arranged to ship the entire rear wall of a 737-200.  It was already skidded on a pallet and shrink-wrapped, and I had photos.  There were no issues, and Jim had no doubt that I am aware of that would have offset this transaction.

In an email yesterday, I was informed that my panels were no longer available because someone had broken into the yard and stolen them. (!)  Really... a 48X96X54" pallet weighing in at 405 lbs.  Seems ludicrous on the face of it, and of course, nothing else is available unless I want 747-400 parts.

I am angry beyond belief.  Not sure whether to trust this company with any other opportunity.  I was lucky that the freight company returned my money and canceled the truck scheduled for Tuesday.

Anyone else have any experiences with this company?

Kev
